A Founder’s Journey
For over fifteen years, Vasili Yavarchuk has lived and breathed IT. He didn’t just launch companies — he built them from the ground up, carried them through storms, and felt every rise and every fall in his own skin. Exposit and Wizart, his two ventures, grew into recognized names in their fields. From the outside, the story looked like success.
But the truth behind the curtain was much darker.
Running both a product company and a service company might sound like the perfect balance on paper. In reality, the foundations were cracking. Revenues started to shrink. Costs, instead of being cut, ballooned. Departments that were supposed to carry the load failed to meet their goals. Critical projects stalled for months.
And the worst part? The advice coming from experienced managers wasn’t just useless — it was actively harmful. Their words and actions drifted further and further from reality.
When Control Turns Into Chaos
Vasili tried to restore order. What he found was a battlefield. Employees pushed back against every attempt at transparency. Time tracking was ignored. Expense controls were rejected. Innovations were met with rolled eyes and silent resistance. In some cases, it was outright sabotage.
The data, which should have provided clarity, was poisoned. Reports were manipulated, time logs falsified, hours inflated two or three times above reality. What should have been objective truth became fiction — a convenient story that hid the company’s decline.
And slowly, an uncomfortable realization took root: the problem wasn’t a bad project, or the wrong hire, or a temporary setback. The problem was systemic.
Years of imbalance in the IT labor market had bred a culture where discipline was optional and accountability inconvenient. Managers no longer managed. Employees no longer executed. Companies no longer controlled their own operations.
All the “classic remedies” — recruiting star performers, paying expensive consultants, launching motivational programs, chasing shiny innovations — did nothing. The system simply swallowed them and carried on unchanged.
The Breaking Point
By August 2023, Vasili had endured enough. Years of painful experience had crystallized into a new, uncomfortable hypothesis. It flew in the face of conventional wisdom. It annoyed colleagues. Some laughed, others resisted.
But Vasili tested it anyway.
Within two months, Wizart started to turn around. Costs dropped. Processes became leaner. The suffocating weight of inefficiency lifted.
Encouraged, he applied the same approach at Exposit. Again, the results were undeniable. The changes were real. The hypothesis held.
The Birth of IT Fit As A Fiddle
That was the moment of clarity: if the same hidden forces were destroying both Exposit and Wizart, then the same was likely happening across the entire industry.
This insight became the foundation of ITFAAF — IT Fit as a Fiddle.
Not another buzzword consultancy. Not empty motivational talks. But a project born from bitter failures and rebuilt on hard-won lessons. ITFAAF is a project of Exposit, created to expose what truly breaks IT companies from within — and to help them recover.
More Than Stories — A Service
Through ITFAAF, Vasili is doing more than sharing his story. We offer consulting services to companies facing the same problems. If you recognize your own struggles here, you can reach out directly to Vasili — or contact our consulting team. We’ll audit your organization, shine a light on the blind spots, and provide tools to stop the waste of money, time, and energy.
On our site and social channels, Vasili will continue to share experiences and dissect real cases we encounter while working with clients. These are not abstract theories. They are raw, lived examples of how money gets burned, how mistakes repeat themselves, and how leadership often chooses illusion over action.
This is not inspiration. This is exposure. And it comes with practical, proven steps to bring companies back under control.
